Redistricting judges: “the involvement of the federal judiciary in this matter has come to an end at least for this decade”

And thus another political and judicial farce concludes in Wisconsin. The 3-judge panel that reviewed Republican redistricting gave ’em yet another good scolding and then said good-bye for the decade:

“The extent to which historians, the media, professional regulators and disciplinary bodies, or any others may wish to take further action is for them to decide in due course. But the involvement of the federal judiciary in this matter has come to an end at least for this decade,” the court wrote.

More on this is to be found at Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s “Judges close redistricting fight with admonition –
Panel scolds GOP, suggests probes in order”

So long, useless judges. Been good to know ya.
