For your viewing enjoyment; Michelle Backmann’s rebuttal from last night. It aired on a Tea Party site and CNN.
While she is in opposition to Obama, she is not a friend to the Republican party. CNN caught flack from the Republican Party for airing her speech. Because of that fact, and because she makes embarrassing gaffs like publicly claiming that the founding fathers fought long and hard to end slavery, it could be in the best interests of the country if she keeps this stuff up.

I agree Linda S., Today’s tea party has no respect of authority. It’s a thug organization.
I used to be a republican, and loved Ronald Reagan. Once they sold out to the likes of McCain (who unleashed the bimbo Palin on us citizens), they have lost all credibility. Now Bachmann thinks she can score points by being as vacuous and misleading as Palin, cheaply playing the “uterus card.” I, as a female voter, am OFFENDED by the implication that I would vote my uterus instead of the issues. Michelle Obama has more intelligence and decorum as these two bimbos (Palin and Bachmann) combined, and even that denigrates Michelle Obama.
When I was a child, we listened to the presidential speeches on the radio. You could hear a pin drop in the room. That president was treated with much respect, as it should be today. We have changed. We analyze everything down to the core. Everyone thinks they know more than anyone else. I, for one, happen to think that our president is doing everything he can to make it better for us, the American people. Why can’t we give him time to accomplish this. So much opposition. Not enough working together to do the right thing.
I have no idea what she said because the make up and the ‘looking off camera’ was so distracting. OK, so I don’t care what she said.
They were saying on twitter last night that she was looking at the live feed camera, but when I went to look on the Tea Bagger Express site she wasn’t there(?). I see she on there now, but she is still staring off to the right. CAN WE NO DROP THE TELEPROMPTER JOKE ABOUT THE PRESIDENT?
